Home › Holiday feeding plan

An AquaTender Premium feature

Go away relaxed.
Your fish will be fed.

You put together a clear feeding plan, then send a single link to your neighbour or a relative. They see the photos of your food boxes, the doses in pinches, and tick off what they gave. No account, no app.

A plan anyone can follow

A plan even your neighbour gets

Whoever looks after your fish isn't an aquarist — which is exactly why we built the page for them, not for you. No jargon, big buttons, one photo per food.

You photograph your actual box, the one on the shelf: the feeder looks for the object, not a brand name they've never heard of.

  • Doses in plain terms — 1 pinch, 1 teaspoon, 2 pellets, 1 cube… everyday units, not grams.
  • A schedule in words — "every day", "every other day", "just on Saturday". Each tank, each food has its own rhythm.
  • Your notes right beside it — "crush the flakes", "the key is with the neighbour": a free note per line, plus one general note for the whole stay.
  • The meal count up front — "every other day = 7 meals" shows before you leave, so you catch a mistake in time.

One link, zero account

You share a link. That's it.

One "Create the share link" tap and you get an address to copy. You send it yourself by text or WhatsApp to whoever you like. On the other end, the person opens a page — no login, no password, no app to download.

They tick "Given" for each meal, or "Couldn't" if it wasn't possible, and can undo in one tap. They just enter their first name, once.

  • No account to create — the number-one obstacle that makes people give up is gone.
  • A shared history — "Marie fed yesterday at 6 pm": if two people drop by, nobody feeds twice.
  • A day with no food is normal — the page says so clearly, so the helper never worries (the fish are perfectly fine).

You stay in control

Discreet for them, reassuring for you

During the trip and when you're back, you see day by day what was given — and what was deliberately skipped. You know, without calling, that all is well.

And above all, this link opens one door only. It travels by text and may get forwarded: it was only ever meant to give access to the feeding, and that's exactly what it does.

  • None of your account is exposed — no e-mail, no water parameters, no livestock, no other tanks, no subscription.
  • Instant revocation — regenerate the link and the old one, even forwarded, stops working right away.
  • The right day, wherever you are — "today" follows your tank's timezone, so the last evening of the trip is still feedable.

Frequently asked

What people often ask

Does the person feeding need to install the app or create an account?
No. They open the link you send them and land on a clear page, with the photos and big tick-off buttons. No account, no install, no password.
How do I send the link to my neighbour?
You copy the link from the app and send it yourself, by text, WhatsApp or e-mail. AquaTender doesn't send it for you — you decide exactly who receives it.
Can they see my account, my parameters, my other tanks?
No. The link opens one door only: this tank's feeding. They never see your e-mail, your water parameters, your livestock, your other tanks or your subscription.
How do I cut off access after the holidays?
A "New link" button instantly invalidates the old one, even if it was forwarded. You can also disable sharing without deleting anything — the plan and its history stay with you.
Can I print the plan to leave on the fridge?
The feeder views a web page on their phone (they open it from a plain link, with nothing to install). The whole point is that they tick meals off as they go and keep you posted — something paper can't do.
Is the feeding plan a paid feature?
Creating a feeding plan is a Premium feature, on the owner's side. The person who feeds, however, never pays or installs anything: they simply open the link you send them.
